Tony Klinger

Chief Executive

Tony Klinger is an award-winning writer, director and film producer. He has made films,
authored books, articles, columns, blogs, podcasts, film scripts and plays. Tony is an
acclaimed public speaker, plus a successful coach and academic. Klinger calls himself a
storyteller.

Tony began as an Assistant Director on the iconic TV series ‘The Avengers’, then worked
his way up the crew ladder on films including “Up the Junction” ‘Gold’, “Get Carter” and
‘Shout at the Devil’, featuring a galaxy of stars.

Tony also made signature music films, including ‘Deep Purple Rises Over Japan’, featuring
Deep Purple, with the Who for, ‘The Kids Are Alright’ and yet more music legends for
‘The Butterfly Ball’ and “Galway Plays Mancini”.


Now Tony has new films “Dirty Sexy and Totally Iconic”, “The Man Who Got Carter”, “Sisters”
and “Solo2Darwin” and books, “Who Knows”, “How to Get Your Movie Made by Someone Who 
Knows”, “The Definitive and Final Get Carter Book”, “Alsatia-The Search for Treasure”, “Under God’s Table” and “The Butterfly Boy”.

Deborah Thompson Give-Get-Go Head  of Arts

Deborah Thompson

Head of Arts Department

Deborah has extensive experience and is trained in many aspects of the Arts, including Drama, Dance, Art, Backstage Set Design and Management, and Costume/Make-up.
She studied at Oxford University and is a fully qualified teacher of the Performing and Visual Arts.
Deborah was a Theatre Consultant in Michigan, USA and is a Fulbright Scholar.
As the Director of a Visual and Performing Arts' College she shared and developed a creative pedagogy throughout the curriculum and management. She also runs conferences, as a Primary and Secondary School lead, in Change Management and Creative learning.
The Thompson Theatre is in her name.

Helen is the Co-Founder of Give-Get-Go Education CIC as well as Chief Cheerleader at The RYTC and Education Selection Box. Following time spent working for Bill Kenwright and nationally recognized Salamander Theatre, Helen started the process of putting young people and new talent front and centre. That was 25 years ago.

 

Helen’s journey took her into Alternative Provision and The RYTC/Education Selection Box partnership was born. Her mission, for ALL, is to make learning fun and accessible, to encourage ambitious futures and to create professional opportunities across the creative arts.

Give-Get-Go Head of Business Operations Erica Mynard

Erica Mynard

Head of Business Operations

Erica left college with A-levels in English Literature, Theatre Studies and Performing Arts, beginning her career in the retail industry. She is an actor and theatre administrator, currently working at ROYAL & DERNGATE, one of the UK’s most successful regional theatres as Box Office Manager. As a performer she has appeared in several ensemble pieces, including THE REVENGERS' COMEDIES, OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD,MARKET BOY and the world premiere of Arthur Miller’s THE HOOK. She also regularly performs in the theatre’s story telling back stage tour BEHIND THE CURTAIN She has worked as a practitioner with youth theatre groups and also lead theatre workshops for adults. She is currently in rehearsals for Great Expectations and The Grapes of Wrath at Royal & Derngate

Sheila Smith

Marketing and Sales Director

Credible, multi-skilled sales and event professional with an eye for detail and proven track record. Sheila has worked the gamut of related industry sectors (Sales, Training, Business Exhibitions, Private Events & Wedding Planning to name a few) and although the skill set is vast, her greatest talent lies in a 'can-do' attitude to business, strong influencing skills and a ready smile. Sheila now wishes to blend all this knowledge, wisdom and experience, and move it into new and exciting areas with Give-Get-Go!
