Getting Young People Career Ready, One Real Step at a Time

Most young people leave school without ever trying a real career pathway. Not because they don't want to. Nobody ever showed them how.

That's the gap Give Get Go Education was built to close. We're a careers training platform for young people. Our job is simple. Help them build real, transferable skills, and give them an actual route into the world of work.

Skills first, not just qualifications

A CV full of grades doesn't always show what a young person can actually do. So we focus on something different. Real skills, built through real experience.

That's why mentoring and traineeships sit at the heart of what we do. Think of a traineeship as our version of an apprenticeship. It's step-by-step support, built around the individual, not a standard checklist. Every young person moves at their own pace, with someone alongside them the whole way.

Starting with something they can actually make

Right now, that looks like our film-making competition. It's the first step into the platform, and it's a deliberate one. Learners work with a real script, and build something they can point to and say, "I made that."

It's hands-on. It's creative. And it teaches skills that go way beyond film, like teamwork, problem-solving, and seeing a project through from start to finish.

Part of a bigger picture

We don't do this alone. Alongside our partners Education Selection Box and RYTC, we bring creative methodology, academic support, SEND expertise and real-world pathways together. That's what we call the full package.

It means a young person doesn't just get career training in isolation. They get it alongside academic support and mental health support too, so all three actually work together.

Why this keeps getting recognised

We don't do this work for recognition. But when it comes, it tells us something useful. It tells us young people genuinely need this kind of pathway, and that it's working.

That's shown up in recognition for our partnership approach, our alternative provision and mentoring work, and as a women-led business, breaking through in an industry where that's still far too rare.

Every bit of that recognition points to the same thing. Young people getting a real, practical route into work, built around who they actually are.

That's the story behind Give Get Go Education. Want to hear it in our own words? Watch the video below.
