Eligibility

The competition is open to filmmakers worldwide. There are no geographical restrictions on entry.
Participants aged 18 and over enter via the TKOC strand. Participants under 18 enter via the GGGE strand.
Under-18 entrants must submit a completed Parental or Guardian Consent Form. Entries without this form cannot be accepted.
All films must be in the English language. All dialogue, narration, and on-screen text must be in English.
Employees of GGG, TKOC, and GGGE, and their immediate family members or those living in the same household, are not eligible to enter.
Entry is free of charge. There is no cost to enter.

Format Requirements

Duration: 1–3 minutes in total, including any titles and credits. Films outside this range will be disqualified without exception.
Orientation: Vertical 9:16 aspect ratio only. Films submitted in any other aspect ratio will not be accepted.
The official GGG Horizons script must be used as the basis for the film.
Submitted films must be of broadcast quality and suitable for cinema screening.
Production methods permitted: live action, animation, VFX, CGI, AI-assisted production, or any hybrid of these.
Content created to promote any product, service, or third-party brand will not be accepted.
Submitted material must not contain obscene, unlawful, sexually explicit, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
All content must comply with UK law and applicable platform standards.

Submission Requirements

Films must be submitted to the email address given on entry using a private, password-protected link to YouTube or Vimeo.
Accepted file formats: .mov, .mp4, or a format compatible with YouTube/Vimeo.
Submission deadline: 30 June 2026 at 23:59 GMT. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Entrants must provide signed Artist Release forms for all performers and contributors.
Confirmation that all music, footage, and AI-generated assets are appropriately licensed must be provided.
If AI tools are used in any part of production, this must be clearly disclosed at the point of submission.
Where the same film is submitted by more than one person, the first completed registration will be treated as the official entry.
You may submit more than one film, but each film must be submitted as a separate entry.

Third Party Rights & Clearances

All submitted films must be the original work of the entrant.
Films must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
Entrants are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary clearances before submitting — including location releases, releases for all persons appearing in the film, music licences, and releases for any props or set dressings not owned by the entrant.
Where any person appearing in a film is under the age of majority in their country of residence, a signed release from a parent or legal guardian is required.
No unauthorised use of copyrighted material — including music, footage, photographs, or audio — is permitted.
GGG reserves the right to verify clearances at any time and to disqualify entries where clearances cannot be confirmed.

Rights & Ownership

The competition does not transfer ownership of your film to GGG. All rights except script copyright revert to the entrant six months after competition close date.
Any use of any entrant's film after entering the competition must include the credit: Scriptwriter, Tony Klinger, a GGG Presentation
By entering, you grant GGG a non-exclusive licence to use your film — including footage, stills, and title information — for promotional purposes connected to this competition, across all media.
By entering, you grant GGG the right to use your name, likeness, and biographical information for competition publicity and promotional purposes.
Any commercial use of your film beyond competition promotion — 50% of net income will go to the entrant for revenues directly attributable to your film.
Selected finalists will be required to provide a high-resolution exhibition copy of their film and a full digital press kit including film stills and a director photograph.
Selected finalists agree to provide director and producer contact information, which GGG may share with industry organisations connected to competition events at its discretion.

Judging & Results

All eligible entries will be assessed by an independent panel of industry professionals.
The panel will select the top ten winners.
The jury's decision is final and binding in all matters. No correspondence will be entered into regarding judging outcomes.
GGG reserves the right to select fewer than ten finalists if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries.
GGG reserves the right to withhold a prize if the standard of entries does not meet the required quality threshold.
Finalists will be notified by email and will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility within 10 days of notification.
Winners will be announced at the cinema premiere in July/August 2026.

Disqualification

GGG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any entry at any time during the competition.
Grounds for disqualification include: failure to meet entry requirements, breach of these rules, failure to obtain necessary clearances, submission of obscene or unlawful material, copyright infringement, promotional content, and any attempt to manipulate or interfere with the competition.
GGG may cancel, suspend, or modify the competition at any time if, in its sole discretion, circumstances require it — including technical failures, fraud, or circumstances beyond its control.
GGG is not liable for technical failures, upload errors, or any damage to submitted films arising from the submission process.

Limitation of Liability & Data

By entering, entrants release GGG, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from participation in the competition, acceptance of a prize, or use of submitted films.
GGG is not responsible for any failure to screen films at the premiere or any other venue if that failure is due to circumstances beyond its control.
GGG processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. A full Privacy Notice is available at [insert URL].
By registering, you confirm that you have read and understood the GGG Privacy Notice and registration is acknowledgment and agreement to all terms and conditions.
GGG will not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without separate consent.
This competition is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

⚠ Note

Travel and attendance: GGG does not cover travel, accommodation, or transport costs for the cinema premiere or any other competition event. Neither does it cover any costs involved in the making of the films. Attendance at the premiere is warmly encouraged but is entirely voluntary and at the entrant's own expense. The competition is open internationally and GGG acknowledges that travel to the UK may not be possible for all finalists. This will not affect a finalist's eligibility for their prize.
