School Didn't Work Out? Your Future Is Still Wide Open

Maybe school never felt right. Maybe you left early, struggled to fit in or just didn't get the results you hoped for. And now everyone's asking, "So what's next?"

Here's the truth: school not working for you doesn't mean your future won't work

out.

Signs You Might Need a Different Route

•      You felt stuck or unseen in a traditional classroom

•      You learn best by doing, not just sitting and listening

•      You have ideas and creativity that school didn't make room for

•      You're unsure what careers are even out there for you

Simple First Steps

1.     Think about what you enjoy, not just what you were "good at" in school.

2.     Try something hands-on. Doing is one of the best ways to find out what fits.

3.     Talk to people who understand alternative routes.

4.     Remember there's more than one path. As Helen explains in her latest short video, learning isn't just "in school" or "out of school," and the same goes for careers.
